Books for people who build with AI.

Stop being the middle man, who is retelling AI the books you read. Instead give the frameworks and best practices from your favorite books, packaged as SKILL.md, directly to your agents. No more lost in translation.

What the heck are skills?

A skill is context you load into your AI agent before you start a task. It is a single markdown file that tells the agent what you value, how you decide, and which framework you trust, so the agent does not have to guess.

We did not make the format up. SKILL.md was introduced by Anthropic in October 2025 to teach Claude Code about a project, a workflow, or a taste. In December 2025 Anthropic published it as an open, cross-platform standard at agentskills.io (opens in a new tab). Cursor, Claude Code, ChatGPT and other coding agents now read the same convention. We package each book as a SKILL.md so the framework reaches your agent directly.

Stop being the Middleman

Before, you read three hundred pages, kept a fraction, and retold that fraction to your agent. Two rounds of loss, and the second one is invisible, because you pass on what you remembered, not the framework.

Now the framework reaches your agent directly. You still decide which book matters. You just stop being the middleman.

Before

You read a book last year, you try remember it and then you try to retell the learnings to you agent. You are the middleman.

You read a book last year,
you try remember it and then
you try to retell the learnings
to you agent.

You are the middleman.

After

You, the book, and the agent work as a triangle. You pick the book, the book reaches the agent directly, and the agent applies the framework back to your work. No middleman anymore.

You pick the book and feed it directly to your agent.

No middleman anymore.

Why not simply give the agent the book as PDF?

Fair question. A book is written for a human reader. A skill is written for an agent. Same source, different format.

The PDFThe skill

EPUB, Kindle, DRM

Often there is no clean PDF to hand over at all.

One markdown file

Same file in Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and ChatGPT.

60,000 words

Story, anecdotes and repetition fill the context window.

A few hundred lines

The framework only, small enough to stay in context.

The agent guesses

Nothing marks which parts of the book actually matter.

Rules, steps, edge cases

Written as instructions, not as a chapter to interpret.

A document you ask about

You have to prompt for the right passage every time.

A behaviour it applies

The agent works that way without being asked again.

We do not resell the book. Every skill credits and links its source.

Three steps

  1. Pick a skill
  2. Drop it in ~/.claude/skills/
  3. Run a command

We built this for our own product first.

People signed up for MeetMeAt and never came back. Instead of retelling our agent the onboarding book we had read, we handed it the framework as a skill and let it audit the real flow. That first file is why this library exists.
